The main character was just horrible to me, he couldn't kept his mouth closed and had the same dumb look on his face the whole show.. This should've been about a 6 episodes show, the writhing felt like it got sloppy and his decision making was just horrible.. You can feel that they're trying to force a message in this.. But this is his first starring role in a tv series so I'll cut him some slack plus they released the show on his birthday.. still worth the watch for sure.

It is the perfect combination of seriousness with a few goofs or 80s references thrown in here and there. This revival could have been a disaster, but it seems like they got the perfect combination of writers, directors, and actors. But as a 40-something, I’m pretty much rooting for him actors. It’s funny, because when I was a kid I wanted to punch Johnny in the throat as hard as I could. Great job by the people responsible for making this happen – and of course it couldn’t have happened without Ralph & Guillaume. Thanks!
