Story
In the midst of an international crisis, career diplomat Kate Wyler is thrust into a high-profile job for which she is ill-suited, with tectonic consequences for her marriage and political future. The producers convinced the American and British governments to allow them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the still-recent American embassy (in Nine Elms), which opened in 2018. an honor to any film or screen production, especially an American one.
The only place available was Winfield House, the actual residence of the American ambassador
Although it is accurately described as occupying the largest residential area (11 hectares) in London outside of Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming. ). I watched Night Agent and thought it couldn’t get much better than this, I was wrong.
So cerebral and fascinating
I loved every second of this series. Everything you could want in a series. The characters and acting were top notch.
He played it perfectly
It was great to see the delicious Rufus Sewell again and the kind of role he played, you never knew what was going to happen to him next. Keri Russell was great as an ambassador. I also loved Dávid Gyasi.
The best political show since The West Wing
Overall, a wonderful series, maybe a little short, but worth watching. Excellent!
